The Current Tri Cities Real Estate Market

In all honesty, it is not easy to find a home in the Tri Cities right now.  But don’t fret, the reason is good!  The economy has grown so much in the last 4 years and the region has added some 15,000 jobs.  That amounts to a lot of homes.  Consequently, home inventory is below half the normal level.  Prices are up too, some 40%.  Still they remain below many larger cities.  Vacancy rates in apartments are also suprisingly low given the thousands of new units being built each year.  The Tri Cities real estate market might be considered a ‘tough’ one, but there is still plenty of opportunity.
